Library Media System with TV and Projection Screen

Here’s an interesting install we recently completed.

Our client wanted a large TV inset into the shelving for daily viewing, but they also wanted a bigger home-theater viewing experience. The solution was to install two screens. The first screen is a  a Sharp Aquos 70″ 1080p LCD television. This is for general purpose viewing and is recessed into the cabinetry with custom trim that makes it blend seamlessly in to the woodwork.

For times when a larger screen is desired, we installed a motorized drop down screen and motorized window shades to darken the room. This helps to bring our client closer to the action and is perfect for blockbuster movies!
