In a recent post, I talked about Mirror TV’s and how these unique products from Séura make your television disappear inside an artful mirror frame.
Today, I want to continue the subject of hidden televisions by showing you another great way to hide your beloved tv… by utilizing a drop-down, motorized tv lift hidden in the ceiling!
Here are some photos [and videos] of a recent SoundVision project that incorporated the aforementioned inverted motorized apparatus. The process involves mounting the television on a lift [similar to the one we used in a recent Motorized TV Lift project], but instead of having the tv lift pop up from a custom built cabinet, we invert the process and have it descend from the ceiling.
To ensure that the technology is out of site, we attach a matching piece of hardwood or drywall [that will be painted to match the color of the ceiling]. This guarantees maximum camouflaging for the ultimate hidden solution! The entire lift system is maintenance-free.
Drop Down Motorized Lift Before & After
As you can see, the television is hidden out of site until you are ready to watch your favorite shows or movies.
Radio Frequency Remote Control
Each TV Lift system is equipped with an RF (Radio Frequency) remote control, for simple operation. Using this control, you simply hit the button and the television begins it’s gentle descent from within your ceiling. If you are worried about losing or misplacing the remote, we can also hard-wire a switch to a wall plate for quick and easy access to the technology.
Total travel time is only 15 seconds! Operation is smooth and quiet and will not disturb any persons who may be slumbering nearby.
Not sure if a drop-down, motorized tv lift is right for you? Why don’t you pick up the phone and call us today so that we can discuss your options. We look forward to hearing from you…..
