Motorized Art

In this installation our client wanted to move their TV that was creating an eye sore in the corner and wanted surround sound without having to see the speakers, basically they wanted the home theater experience in their living room without making any compromises. You can see in the before and after pictures we were able to accomplish just that. The solution? Motorized original art, which would make a great addition to any home. A bulky TV and the media systems that come with it can off-put the focal point of a room, but with this option we install your TV behind a painting of your choice as to not disrupt the ambiance of the room. To avoid unsightly speakers we installed 5.1 aimable in-ceiling speakers, which offers a clean  look to maintain the charm of their living room.

Artscreen manufacturer, Vutec offers an impressive library of fine art canvases and you are able to chose any frame, stock artwork or artwork you may currently have. Guests will only be aware that a TV is hidden behind the painting when you use the remote to roll up the canvas and unveil the beautiful 1080p display. When you are finished watching TV, turn it off as normal and the painting returns to its frame in a matter of seconds. Check out our video below to view it in real time!

This is a great option for customers who want to keep their home’s aesthetic appeal as well as having the latest home entertainment technology. Another sleek possibility are TV mirrors, perfect for bathrooms or bedrooms and leave no trace when not in use.

Here are some more pictures of the finished product. No sign of a TV or its systems to throw off the flow of the living space.
