Project Manager ($100K – $150K per year)

Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the projects they manage are scheduled and completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager makes sure that all communication necessary in order to deliver on this goal is executed in a timely and professional manner. The Project Manager makes sure that any scope or time requirement changes are approved by the client and then documented and communicated to all relevant parties. The Project Manager is responsible for the training and development of technicians. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that customer’s, construction partner’s and design partner’s expectations are exceeded.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proactive, flexible team player who is comfortable working in a small company environment taking on a leadership role.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter.
  • Detail oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Full understanding of the SoundVision Body of Knowledge.
  • Full understanding of the construction process, the roles of the various design/construction professionals, and the ability to see the project from everyone’s perspective.

Engineer ($80K – $125K per year)

Description:

The Engineer is responsible for maintaining SoundVision’s D-Tools database, pre-engineered packages and templated project documentation. They create proposals and associated documentation that is thorough and accurate. They make sure that all documentation is executed on-time and on-budget, verifying that it is thorough, accurate, up to date, and easy to follow. They are responsible for keeping the proposals and drawings accurate and up to date with project changes and as-builts. They are responsible for issuing change orders for additional work so that they are able to deliver documentation within budget requirements. The Engineer is also responsible for research and development of new technologies, methods, and products related to our systems and services.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Goal oriented, organized and efficient, with excellent time management skills.
  • Natural understanding of software, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Visio, AutoCAD, and D-Tools skills are required.
  • Excel, Word and Outlook skills are required.
  • Lutron and Crestron software skills are desirable.
  • Understanding of electronics, electricity and residential wiring standards
  • Understanding of the SoundVision Body of Knowledge and 3 to 5 years of industry experience.
  • Full understanding of residential construction methods and practices

Lead Tech ($60K to $110K per year)

Description:

The Lead Technician is responsible for efficiently installing, servicing and calibrating SoundVision systems exactly as designed and documented, on time and on budget. The Lead Technician is responsible for knowing and using SoundVision standard methods and practices. The Lead Technician makes sure that all work and communication necessary in order to document and deliver on this goal are executed in a timely and professional manner. The Lead Technician makes sure that any scope or time requirement changes are communicated to the Project Manager. The Lead Technician is responsible for training and development of Lead Tech. Trainees.

  • Strong understanding of the construction process and the rolls of the various construction professionals.

Apprentice Tech ($50K per year)

Description:

The Apprentice Tech is responsible for helping the Lead Technician install, service and calibrate SoundVision systems exactly as designed and documented. They are responsible for learning and using SoundVision standard methods and practices. They are responsible for learning the SoundVision Body of Knowledge. The Apprentice Tech is responsible for making sure that they receive the training required to correctly perform all tasks assigned. They are responsible for developing the skills and knowledge required to become a Lead Technician.

  • Understanding of the construction process and the roles of the various construction professionals.
