Our Transparent Disclosure

When you fill out our “Contact Us” forms, we will receive the data you willingly input. As an example, if you enter your name, email and a message requesting our services, we receive this information in a contact request to ensure we can respond to your requests quickly. We do not use any information entered in our “Contact Us” forms to re-market to you.

When visiting a webpage with a contact form, our Google Invisible reCaptcha will analyze your behavior on the website to determine if you are a robot. By having an invisible captcha, our human visitors are very unlikely to be required to fill out a manual captcha all while reducing spam. SoundVision does not receive any of the information reCaptcha uses to determine if users are human or not.

If you enter your name and email into our newsletter sign-up forms, we will use that information to send you our newsletter. We only use this information to know where to send the newsletter and to address who is receiving said email.

By visiting our website, we may receive information about how you use our website through Google Analytics. We use this information to steer our website design to ensure all viewers are having a positive experience on our website.

We do not sell, distribute, lease or give away any of your information with any other organization or party.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on SoundVision, which are sent directly to users’ browser. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that SoundVision has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

SoundVision App Specific Privacy Policy

PRIVACY AND SECURITY DISCLOSURE

The SoundVision app is made and designed completely in house with privacy and security at the forefront of the Service’s architecture to the best of our ability. Some of the practices we use include, but are not limited to:

  • Using random identifiers with partner’s so that, in limited instances when 3rd party services are required for functionality, your identity remains masked.
  • Retaining minimal data on you. In most instances, where additional data is needed, we designed the archictecture to keep that additional data enncrypted on your device. This means we never see it!
  • Using state-of-the-art encryption methods for hot-state data for the limited identifiable information we do keep to retain core functionality. This is on top of existing cold-state encryption.
  • We don’t sell any data pertaining to anything that happens within Service to any external parties. Period.

Data Security and Privacy with The SoundVision App

SoundVision takes your privacy seriously. All information is encrypted in a cold state, and sensitive information uses state-of-the-art modern encryption techniques to protect your data in hot-state. Data is regularly re-encrypted with new keys and requires authorization from multiple services for decryption. Data in-transit is encrypted with HTTPS. Senesitive information is not directly linked to you when stored on our servers to minimize the risks to you.

SoundVision also practices security through obscurity. While we hope the information provided is sufficient to instill trust in our methods and practices to secure your information, we believe this is as much detail as we can provide without also inadvertantly compromising our security practices to bad actors.

The information collected through the app is not sold, leased, or shared with any third parties outside of SoundVision. No one outside SoundVision has access to the information collected through the app.

When using tools by SoundVision to diagnose products from other services that require their credentials, authentication details are handled exclusively on your device and never transmitted to or stored on SoundVision servers. Only the diagnostic results are temporarily transmitted to SoundVision staff for real-time analysis of potential issues.

Consent for App Usage

By using the SoundVision app, you consent to the collection and use of the information as described in this App-Specific Privacy Policy section. If you do not agree with the terms outlined here, please refrain from using the app.
